Opening Announcements

Today, please report on storm damage in the past week in your area.  Was any major infrastructure impacted, etc?



Now we will begin CERT team roll calls, grouped by participating City CERT teams.  We will take any late or missing members after roll call finishes.  After roll call, we will call for visiting stations.


Davis City CERT
-------------------------------
We now ask Davis City CERT members to check into the net.

Checkins:

- down branches around
- neighbor's fence down
- flag was down to one grommet
- shade cover in the park was shredded
- power out in much of Davis and Woodland
- park tree was down

- not much damage, just limbs and trees






Elk Grove / Galt

Sacramento Metro Fire CERT

We now ask Sacramento Metro Fire CERT members to check into the net.

- McClellan at 67mph
- lost power for 2 days
- used a generator
- roof shingles lost
- warned about wires down and high voltage

 K6ABJ Aaron

- metro fire cert activated
    - protecting down power lines
    - getting to the station was hard due to a down tree
- power on and off throughout sacramento
- traffic lights out
- fire station lost power too (but had backup of course)
- pulsepoint was useful for tracking calls






West Sacramento

Woodland

We now ask Woodland CERT members to check into the net.

- power just came back (5 days!)
- very focused wind next to an open field
- potentially even a small tornado with a very focused swath of rain
- trees broke that were 12-14 inches thick
- put a tree on the neighbors roof
- trees took out the electrical service as well needing to replace 3 lines
- checked on neighbors
- used a generator and a fireplace
