Opening Announcements

Today's question is from Brad (thank you very much Brad):  In the unlikely event that you knew  a major disaster (for example a dam break, fire, a nuclear attack, or violent mob), was going to affect and potentially destroy your area in, say, 6 hours, would you try to go somewhere else?  What would you pack for evacuation?



Now we will begin CERT team roll calls, grouped by participating City CERT teams.  We will take any late or missing members after roll call finishes.  After roll call, we will call for visiting stations.


Davis City CERT

We now ask Davis City CERT members to check into the net.

- take go kit of food, clothing, etc
- potential go to Arcata to visit our daughter

- take a radio, ID, food, snacks, sleeping bags
- evac from oreville dam was a good example of people getting out quickly
    - people in the back roads was chaotic
    - lessons could be learned from it
- somewhere had a sticker you could put on a door to indicate if you've evacuated (marin is giving them out)
